Is your next hire physically prepared for the demands of the job?
At Piedmont Occupational Medicine, we understand that finding the right candidate means more than reviewing a résumé. It also means making sure candidates can safely perform the essential physical functions of the position.
That’s why we offer Post Offer Placement Evaluations (POPEs).
What is a POPE?
A Post Offer Placement Evaluation is a customized physical evaluation designed to determine whether a new hire candidate can safely perform the physical demands of a specific job.
Our physical therapists work directly with your organization to review job descriptions and identify the essential physical tasks required for each position. Candidates then perform those tasks in a controlled environment under the supervision of our trained professionals.
Why Consider a POPE?
A POPE can help your organization:
Hire with greater confidence by evaluating a candidate's ability to perform essential job functions.
Identify physical job demands before a new employee begins work.
Promote workplace safety by helping ensure employees are prepared for the physical requirements of their positions.
Reduce the potential for workplace injuries by matching candidates' physical abilities with the demands of the job.
Improve employee awareness of the physical requirements associated with their position.
Customized to Your Workplace
Every job is different. That’s why our physical therapists can develop a POPE specifically for your organization and the positions you are hiring for.
From physically demanding positions to jobs with specific lifting, pushing, pulling, carrying, or other physical requirements, we can help you develop an evaluation tailored to the job.
Make Your Next Hire with Confidence.
Let Piedmont Occupational Medicine help you take the next step toward a safer, more informed hiring process.
